Description

Nimonic 75 is a high-performance nickel-based alloy, primarily composed of 75% nickel and 20% chromium, with additions of titanium (2.3%) and aluminum (1.1%) to enhance its strength and oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures.

It is known for its exceptional resistance to oxidation, creep, and thermal fatigue, which makes it ideal for use in gas turbines, aerospace applications, and industrial furnace components. The alloy retains its mechanical strength at temperatures up to 900°C, which is significantly higher than common stainless steels or even other nickel-based alloys like Inconel 718.

Nimonic 75 is often used in turbine blades, discs, and high-temperature fasteners. It is available in various forms, including bars, plates, and forgings, and is also recognized under the UNS designation N06075. This alloy provides superior performance in applications requiring both thermal stability and structural integrity over long periods of thermal cycling.
