Description
Inconel 718 Plate is a high-strength, corrosion-resistant nickel-chromium alloy with excellent performance at elevated temperatures (up to 700°C/1292°F). Composed mainly of nickel (50-55%) and chromium (17-21%), it also contains molybdenum, niobium, aluminum, and titanium.
Inconel 718 is particularly noted for its ability to maintain high tensile and yield strength, along with excellent fatigue and oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 700°C (1292°F). It’s used in aerospace, power generation, and chemical processing industries for turbine engines, exhaust systems, and high-temperature components. It is recognized by ASTM B637 and UNS N07718.
