Description
Inconel 625 Plate is a high-performance, nickel-chromium alloy known for its outstanding strength, excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance, and exceptional weldability.
It is primarily composed of 58% nickel, 22% chromium, and 9% molybdenum, providing it with excellent resistance to harsh environments, including high-temperature oxidation and severe corrosive conditions such as those found in chemical processing and aerospace applications.
Inconel 625 Plate performs exceptionally well in applications involving high-temperature exhaust systems, turbine blades, and exhaust nozzles, where temperatures can exceed 1,000°C. The alloy also exhibits excellent resistance to seawater, reducing the risk of corrosion in marine environments.
Commonly referred to as Alloy 625, UNS N06625, and Werkstoff 2.4856, this material’s versatility extends to industries such as chemical, aerospace, power generation, and marine. Its ability to maintain structural integrity even in extreme conditions makes it an ideal choice for components subjected to both high temperatures and aggressive chemical exposure.
