Description
Inconel 600 pipe, also known as nickel alloy 600 pipe or alloy 600 tube, is composed of 72% Nickel, 14-17% Chromium, 6-10% Iron, 1% Manganese and 0.5% Silicon. It is a very versatile nickel-chromium alloy that resists oxidation at temperatures up to 2000 ºF (1093 ºC). It can also be used in cryogenic environments due to its chemical composition containing at least 72% nickel and chromium. Despite the presence of sulfur compounds, ASTM B167 UNS N06600 pipes show good performance and will not crack. It is resistant to corrosion by both organic and inorganic compounds, as well as cracking caused by chloride ion stress.
Hardened by cold work, our Inconel pipe series has additional strength, high weldability, and superior corrosion resistance. It also has excellent resistance to carburization and oxidation. - Pickling treatment: Remove the oxide scale, rust and impurities on the surface of Inconel 600 tube, so that the surface of the pipe presents a uniform and clean state, and at the same time helps to improve the corrosion resistance of the pipe.
- Passivation treatment: Isolate the contact between the pipe and the external environment, significantly enhance the anti-oxidation and corrosion resistance of the pipe, and extend its service life.
- Polishing treatment: Use mechanical or chemical methods to grind and polish the surface of Inconel 600 tube to achieve high gloss and flatness.
- Blackening treatment: A black oxide film is formed on the surface of the alloy 600 pipe. This film not only improves the corrosion resistance of the pipe to a certain extent, but also gives the pipe a unique appearance. It is more suitable for occasions with specific requirements on appearance.
